Systematic review of the long-term effects of caesarean deliveries...
You would think it's been done before, but I couldn't find anything in the literature...

And how do you expect to do a long-term study over the course of eight months?
Which really turns into 5-6 when you get down to it. We were supposed to be done research by Feb 1. And then there's the winter break, reading week (should you choose to take those off) and the time at the beginning that it takes you to get accustomed to everything.

Also, it has been done before. I remember reading something a while ago in the news about how children born by C-section had completely different microbiota, different susceptibilities to diseases, etc.

So this might just be me being ignorant about the field of science, but how do C-Sections relate to neurology?

if you are interested in biological mechanisms of the nervous system, then contact neuroscience profs (including neuropathologists who may not be PhDs but still run labs)

if you are open to anything related to neuro, contact neurosurgeons, neuro-oncologists, etc.
you may get cool clinical projects
