No MicroSD isnt a big deal anymore. With 32GB of storage and the cloud, you are gonna be fine.

I have a 1st gen Nexus 7 and still use it occasionally for reading articles, news, or occasionally playing games. I was thinking of selling it to get the new gen since its an improvement in almost every sense.

Also - about the chromecast - it looks awesome! But there are more rumours out there now that google is making another tv-box, which will be closer to appleTV in competition.

As attractive as it is, I am waiting for the next gen iPad mini. I'm not too fond of a 7" display. An 8" feels perfect for me. Apple, always playing the catch up game, will hopefully match the 323 ppi.

If there was a Nexus 8, hands down I would get it.

Is the ipad mini good? I read alot of mix reviews and most of my friends with ipad mini recommend the regular size ipad instead.

Perhaps the mSD is for those who don't have a great upload speed (since most ISPs provide 1 Mb/s anyways) and maybe the portability/ease of transfer

Possible, but there is another rumour out since yesterday that there is another new device in the works which will compete directly with Roku, AppleTV, etc.
