Hi Insiders

When we released MacInsiders Mobile back in 2010, the mobile version of the site was better and simplified but still lacking heavily in being actually mobile-friendly and fitting your mobile screen.

Today we are releasing an updated version of our 'Mobile' theme when surfing MacInsiders on your mobile phone. Browsing and posting to the forums should be easier now with this new mobile-friendly version. A lot of users in our feedback survey mentioned their disappointment with our old mobile version not fitting their screen well, so we've simplified the features so that it will now load faster on your phone and you can get content quicker.

The site should load directly into the forums in mobile mode when you load us up on your mobile device.

If you have problems or issues with the new mobile theme please post them as a reply to this thread and we'll look into it for you.

Some MacInsiders users also have a few apps in development for the site and chatroom, so stay tuned for those!

whenever i click the button for "desktop version" (at the bottom), it redirects back to mobile version.

Thanks for pointing that out icecubz... I have fixed it. Wasn't linked properly. Should work now!

Thanks chad. Another concern. While on desktop mode, when I click on the macinsiders logo (top left of page) it redirects to the mobile version instead of the desktop version's home page.

Good catch. I will try to fix that.
