It never hurts to play online games such as Maple Story even if you are an university student. My dad even plays online games. He plays a game called Conquer Online and he is way better than me... -_-

Besides that, I used to play MapleStory as well (after playing Runescape). It was a very long time ago and I don't remember what server I was playing in. I think I had swordsman as a character. I didn't get very far though, since it got boring over time. Actually my sister got me hooked into it because she started playing it before I did.

I would play this again someday but I have to get a better laptop first and also finish school

I've been playing Maplestory since BETA so I've got crap tonnes of experience. I've been through several worlds. I started in Khaini, then moved to Bellocan, then to Scania. After Scania I played in Broa for a while and have established most of my accomplishments there. Now I play in Windia because two very close friends irl play there and I am now a Junior Master in an amazing guild.

So what about you guys? Do you still play or not? If not I'd encourage you to play again! It's incredibly easy to level up now and I can help you out starting if you play in my world or in Broa. There's a crapload of classes available to play now although some of them are unplayable atm because they have been cycled out and will be available for creation again some time later.

ALSO a new patch is coming out sometime in summer (probably end of July) and it's going to entail 2 new classes. The Demon Avenger and Xenon. Demon Avenger is the subclass for Demon Slayer and uses HP for its stats only and uses a sword instead of the mace. Xenon is resistance character which is hybrid thief and pirate so it can use both equips. It's an android and has the ability to fly as well. Xenon is also the second highest DPS character ever in the game. And both are very easy to do high damage with little to no funding. This is part of the main reason why I'm playing again.

Yes it has, and for the longest time after the Big Bang patch I was devasted/against it. Turns out everything happened for the better. Sure I miss some things but now the game is actually playable without spending forever getting to 100 and still be too weak to do all the fun high level things. The game is also so much more visually appealing - better resolution, pretty new maps, new hairstyles. Most importantly, a lot more class selections and very fun to play. I used to envy thief's haste skill but now many classes have some kind of double jump skill.
