Serious thread is serious
Why does my hair ALWAYS look better/sit properly/not require product on weekends?
Why do I have a bad hair week, every week, since ever?

hmm, perhaps it has something to do with the amount of sleep you get on the weekends as opposed to the week? I have the exact same problem, except I never let it bother me. There are no clothes in my freak size anyway so I look like crap one way or the other.
