A new mobile app named "MUSST" developed by in partnership between McMaster University and the McMaster Students Union (MSU) has launched that will allow you to quickly call campus security, the Student Walk Home Attendant Team (SWHAT), the Emergency First Response Team (EFRT) and 911.

But the most interesting features you'll probably use on a regular basis include... one-touch dialing to local taxi companies, up-to-date schedules for public transit, as well as the ability to use your GPS location to check on the time of the next HSR bus. Nice!



The app is available on iTunes and Google Play, and works on any BlackBerry with a touchscreen.

anyone try this yet on their android? i find the hsr part either doesnt work..... or is taking forever to load

Horrible web app. I don't know why McMaster would even release such an app. Doesn't look native, doesn't work like a native app.

Why doesn't McMaster send out these projects to CAS to see if a student wants to make something like this? We need something like http://www.uoftdev.ca at our university >_<
