New Student Form
Okay, so I haven't submitted my new student form yet and I'm currently abroad. If I mail my form by tomorrow, it should reach McMaster by around the 18th. The deadline is supposedly the 15th of July so would this be too late? Is it fine if the form reaches McMaster a few days late? Is it fine if I drop off the form when I'm back in Canada or should I mail it from abroad?

It's totally fine, a friend of mine submitted his form way after the deadline. Although I'd assume it's fine to hand it in when you come to canada, I'd just double check with them to be safe. Here's their contact info:

It's fine Shaad. If you don't submit your form by the 15th it just means you won't get your student card mailed to you next month before you arrive in September. You won't be able to get onto the HSR Public Transit buses for free without paying fare (since you won't have your student card to show the driver to get on and bypass paying fare).

When you arrive in September you will need to wait in a line to get your student card. Lines can be really long so make sure to arrive early in the morning.

I mailed out my new student form on Wednesday, but the lady said that chances are it isn't going to ship till thursday, thus it might arrive on either the 15th or even the 16th. Will I still recieve my card before September if my form arrives a day late?

You should. It's not an absolute strict deadline. I mailed mine a few days after and still got mine in the mail in August. It's just if the majority of people mail it in late, it's not guaranteed that you'll receive it before September.
