They got 1 more month to figure it out, and will probably use majority of that time.. check back sept 1st.

I don't even think they will tell you on the MTT... I don't recall seeing it there. I usually figure things out through ELM and this time it will be Avenue.

majority of the time they appear when your timetable is released which is August 9th. if not then they are usually sessional profs who haven't signed contracts yet. but you should know by the end of August no matter what

Also, just because the mtt says a prof is teaching a course, doesn't mean he/she actually is. For one of my courses last year, it said that we were going to have the prof that taught the course the year before, even though that was never the plan. They had another guy who was going to teach the course, but then that fell through last minute so we ended up with some random.

Profs also sometimes switch sections--I remember my friend really wanted to get into a specific prof's section for chem 1AA3, and then finally a spot opened up and she got in, only to find out that the prof had switched to teaching a different section of the same course.

Basically, nothing is set in stone until you go to the first class

Yeah, it makes it kind of frustrating if you sign up for a class with the intention of getting a certain prof and being surprised in September. I guess rolling with it helps in that situation.

You can also contact departments and ask them who is teaching the course/section.

haha yep, dr fell...so, you won't necessarily get a prof, but you will get a person standing up in front of the class and attempting to lecture...or rather, searching the topic on wikipedia and reading the explanation to the class. *sigh*
