No exam course
This semester is gonna be a *****. Taking 6 courses (which i know is normal for engineers, but I'm a life sci) cause i only have 4 last semester, so I'm trying my best to plan it as well as possible and end up with as few exams as possible. Anyone have any suggestions for 2nd/3rd year courses that dont have final exams? Can be bird courses, or relatively easier science courses that focuses more on coursework, or midterms? Thanks.

No exam does not mean easy. If anything you should expect more work over the year to compensate.

I didn't have a single exam last semester (except for a 10 page take home during the break), but during my last week of class I had four papers ranging from 8-12 pages in length, plus group presentations. So if you're looking to do a course with no exam, be prepared for more coursework throughout the term.

Agreed. Also, instead of exams, some profs have assignments or essays due during the exam break. So even though you don't have an exam to study for, you still have lots of work over the exam period.

I think the only thing you can do is go to each faculty's website and look at the different course outlines. I don't think any course is set out to NEVER have an exam - it all depends on the prof. So you'll have to check each course outline.
