What the hell is confusing...

There's NOTHING healthy/half-decent on campus to eat. If you're worried about calorie count or controlling your diet, there's really no options for you. Enjoy the salad bar.

One piece of peperoni pizza from la Piazza has 19 grams of fat and 630 calories. Never buying that anymore. Apparently I'm quitting coffee, too. I've already cut down from 9 cups a day in highschool to 1/2 a day now. It was a long process.

For the lab, whenever I came across something like a sandwich I just broke down the sandwich into its ingredients and then totaled the calories and protein content from each of the ingredients.

However, I make my own food so its a bit easier as I know what goes into what I eat.

I really don't think campus food is that bad.

Try a barbeque chicken sub from the sub place in Commons. AMAZING.

It's not calorie counting I'm after. It's the macronutrient breakdown.

Hey guys,

I too agree that the lack of nutritional information is a big issue on campus. I really do think having this type of information is necessary for students to make healthy choices and that's why, as part of my MSU presidential platform (which was written before I even saw this thread), I have made the commitment to voicing this concern to hospitality services and working with them to make it a reality.

More information is available on my website at www.alicia2011.com

Edit: the site is currently down (it will be up shortly), but for more info please email me at [email protected]
