I personally was a wee bit dissapointed with this speech. Keeping in mind it was an amazing speech....its just hard to beat some of his previous ones.

Ill admit in this speech, he did what he had to do; he went for the specifics of what "change" really means and clearly contrasted his policies with McCains.

Though it was a great speech, I didn't like it as much because it was not quite as grandiose and inspirational as some of his previous ones, but again, thats not what he had to do. He needs to estabblish himself as more of a reliable non-risky candidate if he wants to win over undecideds and I think he did that with this speech.

I got a feeling that he is not going to win.

Ya, in all this hype about Barack Obama I often forget that the US is still largely a conservative right wing country. If it were nearly any other country in the world, Obama would have much easier time winning.

However, you cant disagree with the math and what the polls are showing right now....Obama does still have at least a 50/50 chance of winning. If you are as interested in this election as I am, I reccomend checking out this site...http://www.fivethirtyeight.c om/

I think it is a period of using him. The right-wing media shows all the pools, now.
Gets people's interest. There are quite a time till the election. People forget by then.

Just before the election, you will see the same media indicating that Mccain is a winner...
