Yes, as Chad mentioned earlier, the Offers of Admission are on a rolling basis...which means they don't all come out at the same time.

Lots of people I know heard from the hummanities on Friday and I didn't hear anything/nothing was on OUAC.
I am working for the year (I graduated highschool last year) which means they would have all of my completed marks, so you would think they would accept that earlier because everything's complete? (My final average was like 15% above the cutoff average for that program)
Now i'm worried!

As a student in the CMST&MMEDIA program, good choice!
If you have high marks I wouldn't be worried. If you don't hear anything in 2-3 weeks let us know and I'll try to find you some answers by asking the department.

Congratulations everyone! I received my acceptance e-mail on the 29th of Feb to Social Sciences. It was really shocking. Still waiting for the package though, totally paranoid that it'll get lost in the mail.

Hey tamzmullet,
Just for your info, I've posted a bit of info regarding CMST+MMEDIA in the Humanities forum. See it here.

The package has a fantastic CD-ROM in it that I think you'll really enjoy. This year they did one of the best jobs I've seen, and there's a video of someone special on it! I'll let it be a surprise

Thanks, I just read it!
I'm more interested (as of right now) in the communication side of things because I don't really have any experience with the multi-media part, BUT I do want to learn
Still haven't gotten in--I called Mac yesterday (pathetic, I know) and they couldn't give me any information ahhhhh

Exciting news! Finally received my mail today! Unfortunately, my letter does not stipulate any conditions for the offer. Does that mean they are making a final offer as I'm already done my top 6?
@ Chad, the CD is pretty cool actually, it's better than the one they give out for RMC anyway.

@tamzmullet
Well, I'm sure you've used a computer before (as you're surfing the internet, and posting in a forum). As long as you have some computer skills, and you feel you have a sense of creativity, then you're well on your way to enjoying multimedia courses. All the skills will be taught to you, students have a broad range of knowledge from beginner to experts, and each type of student is accounted for and pushed to their limit
@Aestas
Glad you thought the CD-ROM was cool! I'm sure the Registrar's Office will be excited to hear that. As for the letter, what did it say? It didn't give you any specific guarantee of acceptance?

It's actually named after someone.
So...what cruel parents decided to name their child that?

@ Chad
Nope, no conditions whatsoever. I think I will email Mac and ask them about it.

It's just adding insult to Salmon by naming a child 'Togo'...
Anyways,
I didn't get a guarantee for residence...:(
Cause of ONE mark that brought my entire average down. So yeah I'm kinda stupid.
If I do well this semester do they give me a residence guarantee at any point? I don't want to not be able to live on residence, or get a really nasty building...
