From what I've heard it's pretty rare for second years to get into STATS 2B03. A lot of the spots are reserved for third years since they need to know the course material to do their thesis'. It's possible though, just a heads up.

thats pretty dumb (not of you but of them for doing that), they're just going to be creating a backlog each year then, if its a 2nd year course and 2nd years want to take it now but they wont let them then were going to be forced to take it next year, and the same thing will happen to next years 2nd years. they should just make it into a 3rd year course if they want to do that

Was anyone actually able to get into Kin 1Y03 yet? Just wondering because I saw a few people wanting to get in (including me)

From the experiences of a few friends, pretty much all of them were able to get into Econ 1BB3 after first-years registered in July, so it's definitely not difficult to get in especially since there's 5 cores!

Two of my friends in second year, still haven't been able to get in. Maybe more seats will open up to upper years for July? There's like 120 seats reserved for upper year Life Sci students, so don't lose hope just yet

What about Physics 1b03? Is it also not difficult to ge in after first years register in July?

Well there are 3 cores each term, so they're fairly large. However, it also depends on how many 1st years decide to take 1B03 or 1L03 which opens up seats in either. However, after first-year registration and when SOLAR re-opens, more seats should open up. I remember it was open when I thought about enrolling in it last year.

Never actually check it , but the same idea applies. There's 2 cores, but it really all depends on the demand for that year and how many spots will be available for upper years after first-years register. However, it's not really as "in-demand" as Math 1LS3 for example, so don't lose hope. They'll be people dropping in and out all the way till the second week of September.
