Okay Courses?
I was wondering if this course load is hard....

Term 1:
1. Bio 1A03
2. Chem 1A03
3. Physics 1B03
4. Math 1A03
5. Psych 1X03

Term 2:
1. Bio 1M03
2. Chem 1AA3
3. Physics 1BB3
4. Math 1AA3
6. Math 1B03 ( Linear Algebra )

yeah, i'm also planning on Minoring in Math or Stats.
what do u guys think?

Almost every life sci kid will have a similar schedule.

Edit: Damn you JHAN!!!!!

A pretty standard course load for most first-year Life Sci students.

If you're interested in math, maybe you should consider physics 1BA3 instead of 1BB3.

yeah i thought about that, but i think it'd be better learning about bio applications than math?

Don't know if it'll be much help. I don't think I've used any knowledge from 1BB3 in my later studies...

While were judging schedules in terms of difficulty, rather then doing a new thread what do you think?

Term 1
Bio 1AO3
Chem 1AO3
Pysch 1XO3
Kin 1YO3 (provided i get in, Earth Sci 1GO3 if not)
Math 1LS3

Term 2
Chem 1AA3
Bio 1MO3
Econ 1BO3
Physics 1BO3
Pysch 1XX3

Seems pretty standard correct? and it leaves me with many options for second year... the unlikely Health Sci transfer, honours life sciences, and stuff like molecular bio/genetics and biochem.

I agree, if you get into 1Y03 you can most likely get into 1YY3 and it'll be good to have them in back to back terms.

Most people take econ because they think it's an easy course. It's not an easy 12, you have to put work into it. Also, you really gotta like the material or else expect regular naps during class time.

I wouldn't call that easy, in fact I would call it a relatively difficult first year. But difficult doesn't mean you can't get 12s in every single one of those courses, it means you actually have to put in effort. If you do, then you'll be fine.

I guess it would make sense to try to get into the other kin course... i was just thinking because some med schools (yeah im one of those ) require a year of social sciences i would do that... but then again i could always do econ in summer school, correct?

This! If you like physics, and you can handle the math, 1BA3 is a great course. Quantum mechanics is soooo fascinating and even though I despise math, I loved learning about it. Plus I thought Dr. Hughes was awesome, so I liked 1BA3 even though it was difficult!
