Organic Chemistry Exam Question - Error?
Upon checking my orgo mark on mugsi I noticed that it was extremely low. I received a decent grade (72%) on the first midterm and was going in with an incredibly high mark in labs and assignments (96%). Did anyone who did NOT write the second midterm receive a strangely low mark? I'm worried that perhaps because I was one of the few who did not write it there may have been some error in the calculation of the final mark (my exam being worth 50% versus 65%, with 0% being allocated for the 15% midterm).

Has anyone ever had a similar mistake happen with their marks? Have you ever received a mark that does not translate into a 0% on the exam but you do not think is accurate of your exam mark? What should I do?

Email Teri and ask for a mark breakdown. Don't expect a response before the 3rd though, since the university is closed. I don't know if she'll be checking/responding to emails over the break.

Well I got a decent mark so it's either something about your exam in particular (perhaps you put the wrong version number) but it's not the exam itself.

Not ruling out that possibility. I'm not sure about it though because I felt pretty good about most of the exam.

i had a similar problem, except i did write the second midterm but i did horribly on the first so i think there might have been a calculation error. i had an 87 going in and thought the exam went very well, but i was surprised at my final mark. i'm just going to email terri to find out my exam mark and figure it out from there.

Lol well what do you want me to say?

It seems like me saying I get a decent mark in the course is me being arrogant, whereas if I said I got a 12 in the course I would also be seen as arrogant.

So I guess it doesn't make a difference in the end, eh?

I was speaking for them

i really dont care what grades anyone else gets

any paltry grades are a reflection of my shortcomings, ive decided that projecting and complaining (QQ) is boring.
