Chem 1A03/1AA3 isn't a reflection of how well you'll do in orgo as it's mostly drawing stuff and conceptual reactions as opposed to calculations.

I took 2OA3 in the summer and did terribly. I ended up taking 2OB3 in regular school and got a 12. lol so you can still do well in orgo without ruining your summer.

THe good thing about taking orgo in the summer is that your marks don't count except for Mac and NOSM.

I just checked the course outline on Avenue and, according to that, Teri Gullon is indeed teaching this summer.

I think I will be joining you guys! I'm registered in the course and since I am getting gipped for hours at my part-time job and can't seem to find a second job, I may as well take orgo so I have some background for the MCAT. Let's hope I can make a comeback after a dismal performance in first-year chem.

Orgo puts the "F-U" in "FUN" when it comes to Chem.
No, really.

I'm probably missing something, but does anyone know exactly when the tutorials will be occurring? On the course outline it says they take place every Tuesday and Thursday... But does anyone know what time?

GUIDANCE PEOPLE ARE DUMB

I honestly did CRAP in 1AA3 - and I do enjoy chemistry.

But organic chemistry is different from 1AA3, clearly. It is just ONE of the topics you cover in 1AA3.

I did much better in ORGO than I did first year chem.

You can do it - GOOD LUCK!
