Yes, you need to tell them about the change. SFAS can help you with that, sfas.mcmaster.ca

No. Don't bother.
Even if you put 0$, OSAP automatically assumes you'll make ~3000$ this summer.
I think its not realy worth the trouble because you'll just get less in January when you get re-assessed by OSAP

I have another osap question.
Let's say I signed up for two courses for the spring term, and two for the summer term. I completed both of the spring terms, but I dropped both of the summer terms.
will osap look down on this, and therefore give me less money during September?

Telling them you made money might alter how much OSAP you get - but you MUST tell them about any change in income. If they find out, you could get in trouble and banned from receiving any more student loans.

I'm pretty sure you'd have to give the money back :/

As Kathy mentioned, that's not a good idea and it could get you into problems later on. You're supposed to inform them with any changes as soon as possible, not wait for re-assessment.

Ps- This tells you how much you can get back: http://www.mcmaster.ca/bms/student/p...ellat ion.pdf
You'd get back 20% of what you paid if you drop it by Tuesday. Are you sure you don't want to keep the courses :/?

They mean from OSAP. You would most likely have to pay OSAP back, I don't know how much but contact OSAP or talk to SFAS about it. sfas.mcmaster.ca
I believe you went from being a full time student (12/12 units) to a part time student (6/12 units) for the spring/summer session. So you should definitively call SFAS to figure out what you have to do.

Well they actually gave me some money for transportation. I'm hoping they won't care about it though.
And yeah I'm gonna call them.
