I'm not trying to start a fight with anyone here, but I think it's important to point out that MacInsiders is a place where we offer unbiased advice, without being sarcastic or condescending. If you come from a family that is also struggling, then I would think that you would understand too. Do you want some random person telling you that oh, you should get a job and stop complaining? No, you wouldn't. Oh, am I assuming again? I'm sorry.
I do believe that yes, we have helped the OP in pointing them in the right direction. Such as changing aspects of their situation and calling the appropriate people at McMaster.
We all make mistakes, you have surely made mistakes in your relatively short life. So, don't begrudge people for it, we're here to accept and help, that's all. But you have to keep posting and posting to prove your point, prolonging the nonsense this thread has become.

Okay, so you probably don't understand what a lot of students go through then. I understand why you can't be sympathetic, it's okay really. Your grandparents though, worked hard and long for you to have a good life. Now, my parents and the OP's parents, are probably doing the same. That's what I mean.

Again, assuming that the OP, their parents, their family etc doesn't work hard.
You're a real class act.

Haha, I have a question. So I discovered this scholarship which is for gay, bisexual, transgendered, lesbian, transsexual students who are in financial need. Now.. I'm in financial need however.. I'm pretty heterosexual so, I'm kind of thinking of lying.. is that really bad? haha.

How would anyone prove that they fall into one of those groups?

Yeah, I know right? I downloaded the form for it, and there's a section that asks how you've contributed to the LGBTTTQ community and if you're "out".
Anyone can BS that. However, my morals are a little too thick and I can't do it. But if anyone's interested, let me know and I'll send you the link. =D

Don't I know it. Sigh. I wish there were scholarships for average joes, the only good thing I got going is having over an over 80% average. Such is life. >.>
