OSAP/Payment Agreement...Please Help
I was going to pay my tuition through online banking but i came across a problem and wasn't sure what to do.

Im doing payment in full, but im also using OSAP with it. On my payment agreement, my total is roughly $13 000.

With the first chunk of OSAP (the 60% released first), my tuition total is reduced to $10 000. However, the deadline to pay the tuition is September 1st, but OSAP is not released until Sept 4th, which concerns me:

Do i have to pay $13 000 or $10 000 by Sept 1.

If i pay $13000, am i just reimbursed with the OSAP later, which directly goes into my parents bank account?

Generally your OSAP should have already been deducted off your tuition during the payment agreement. But if it wasn't, you could still pay first, and you're right: any extra money from OSAP will go directly to your parents' bank account.

You have to do it through online banking. Set up a bill to pay towards McMaster University. Enter your student number as the account number. Enter the amount you need to pay, and confirm.

Yea the OSAP was deducted of my Payment Agreement (60% of it anyways).

I just don't want to have to pay the late fee if it turns out i have to pay the full amount by Sept 1 since OSAP isn't out yet.

Ruggedman, I believe you don't have to pay the late fee. I was talking about this to the Financial Aid people and they said they were aware that OSAP didn't come out til after the deadline, so I'm pretty sure they wouldn't apply a late fee - as long as you pay it before the 30th.. or something like that.

Oh I'm sorry. LOL. Sept 30th.
..I feel like I'm messing you up LOL.
ummm OKAY - I'll give you the situation. I'm paying in full and using OSAP and a mac scholarship to do it. Apparently all I have to do is just get my loan and everything's done. So I'm pretty sure it applies to you too. They didn't mention any late fees or anything like that because they're aware of the situation or whatever. HOPEFULLY I helped, somehow. lol
