Overdue library fines...
Hey,
I have a library fine and I am nowhere near campus...so I was wondering if it will prevent me from receiving my marks? (I am not graduating)

I believe that is for final grades (May) only.
However, you could call the library and ask.

so do I.
Thanks for reminding me.
Let me know what the answer is!
Also, do library fines accumulate over the break?

is there a list of rates? Someone told me there were no fines except for books on reserve ... which was the only list I could find.

That's correct, from what I recall.
I had a book (non-reserve) about a month overdue, and didn't pay a fine for it.

Maybe I'm just imagining things but I feel like in first year I could renew books online, even after they were overdue.

If there's no fees though it makes little difference though.

Yup, that's true. The only overdue books you get fined for are ones of reserve or ones that have been recalled (meaning a student has emailed the library and asked to be contacted when you return the book). The library will email you and let you know if your book has been recalled, and I think you have 5 days to bring it in before it gets any fines.
