If I've overpaid my fees, is the money placed on my student card even if I don't have a meal plan?

They should mail you back a cheque with the difference.

It goes in your "Student Account" first, which is completely separate from your Meal Plan. You can check if the money has been sent via cheque by checking if there is still a balance in your Student Account. It's the same page were you see how much money you owe the University. i did the same thing...

I always overpay my fees because of rez....they used to send a cheque in the mail automatically in my first year. Last year I had to ask for it in the Student Accounts office and they gave me a cheque there. This year....I was told to go back (probably in October) so I can get the refund back (I'm not sure what they'll be doing this year with refunds).

goto Student Accounts and Cashier (2nd or 3rd floor of Gilmour)
tell them, they'll note down your info and mail a cheque to you
