Parking Permit
I was going to apply for a parking permit, but just realized that the deadline passed July 31st. Does this mean that I'm SOL or would I still be able to apply for a parking permit?

There is no harm in applying. I'm not really sure how the whole process works though....it is possible you may not get a spot, but it is also possible you will.

And don't even think about parking there if you don't buy one because there are always parking officers walking around! My cousin thought he could beat the system and park for a day without a pass....Not a smart choice...unless you enjoy getting tickets!

You can still apply for a parking permit I believe (don't quote me, I know it says "parking and security services" under my name but I work for Security, not parking so I just hear what goes around the office). I don't think they'd deny you a parking pass, I think the idea was to try to get all the student ones done before september hits esp since we're putting in a new system for parking...

Speaking of which, with the new parking system in place you don't have to worry about the parking officers anymore... you can't get out of the parking lot without paying because they have installed (and are still doing some) those automated parking arm thingers.
