Since I took 2 second year courses in summer school, I was wondering if I plan to apply to medical school to attend after my third year than would it be possible to take a partial course load during my second year?

well it would a risky choice its best to have a full load cause getting into medschool is no easy feat, im also planinng to apply for medschool after 3rd year and took 2 2nd year courses over the summer but im styll stickin to my full course load just to be on the afe sides

With less than a full courseload, you would be at a disadvantage - some med schools (i.e. Western) only count the GPA of your two best 'full course load' years. Others, like UofT, only drop your lowest courses from their marking scheme if you took a full course load every semester.
