I don't think so. The Payment Agreement should have an OSAP part too. OSAP hasn't said how much they are given yet... atleast not to me. Just confirm your payment agreement and when you get your OSAP e-mail (you should get an e-mail from McMaster too) you can re-confirm your payment agreement and check off OSAP.

That's good, one less form to hand in.

If we're taking OSAP...what forms do we have to send to Gilmour Hall by August 15th? (http://www.mcmaster.ca/bms/student/p...eadlines.p df)

Man, this is a very stressful time.
Tomorrow is Business I Reg. and I have 3 Science courses that I probably won't be able to get into.
I'm uncertain about Psych but...fingers crossed.

You have to send in the supporting documents that you print off from the OSAP site.

Good luck with all your course selections!

I think tuition assistance is only for employees... but you can get a McMaster bursary, you apply for it later in the year. If you keep on checking MacInsider you'll know when you can start applying. Someone will post when it's available and if not I will.

Does External Sponsorship refer to the external scholarships you've earned from other organizations?

I noticed on the payment agreement that there are little white question mark icons on the page, near each heading. On the section where this is ("external sponsorship") there is a question mark icon -- if you click on it, a window pops up, with detailed explanations of what each thing means. I'm not sure if this will help you, but it might! That term was a bit confusing for me, too, but since we can go back in and modify the payment agreement, I wasn't too concerned about the details yet, LOL!

I think it does mean other scholarships, grants and bursaries not granted by McMaster. There is no place for that in the payment agreement so that's where it should go.

Also, if you can receive the scholarships, grants and bursaries BEFORE school start, which means BEFORE you have to pay. I opting not to check the External Sponsorship box and putting the money in an interest account. That way you can make some money from the interest. Even if it's only for a month or a couple weeks. With like a thousand dollars you can get a couple dollars. Then just pay McMaster whenever you agreed in your Payment Agreement.

I think they usually send the scholarship money straight to the university, to ensure that the money is actually being used for school.

Oh, that would make sense. I've never gotten a scholarship despite applying to dozens of them, so I wouldn't know :(

Yeah, this is correct. It worked for me like this in first year.
