Payment Agreement?
Hey,
I know this probably will sound like a really stupid question, not to mention last-minute, but I am going to be entering Level II in the fall and will be selecting my courses tonight on SOLAR. I remember having to fill out a Payment Agreement form last year sometime around registering for courses, but I was wondering if I would have to do that again this year? I haven't gotten any notification or anything from McMaster about it like last year when I was coming in for my first year, so I was just curious if I am missing something and overrreacting or if I am doing fine.
Yes, I know this is cutting it a bit close, but I haven't really had the time to deal with such things until the last few days.
Any input and help is greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance

You'll be doing your payment agreement after you have selected your courses. I'm not sure when though, but it's definitively after since they need to know how many units you are taking in order to charge you.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure you do it the same time you select your courses. You have to do the Payment Agreement in order for you to be considered registered.

Although I have gotten two answers that differ slightly, thanks for your quick replies. I suppose that I just need to be prepared for anything tonight when our beloved SOLAR opens up once again.
Ah well, it's a pain we all suffer together I suppose.
Thanks again (:

If I remember correctly, you don't have to do your payment agreement right away, I don't even know if it'll show up on SOLAR after you've done your selections. I would expect some kind of delay. Afterall, why put more stress on the system?

The option to select Payment Agreement is there when you log into SOLAR. After you pick your courses you can select and choose how you want to pay for your tuition and/or residence this year. You can always go back and modify the your agreement later if you decide you want to pay in a different way.
It's always good to do your Payment Agreement asap so your registration goes smoothly and again you can always change it later. You don't have to pay yet anyway, just agree to pay.
If you don't want to do it tonight after you select your courses because it's too busy or whatever you can go back in a do it the next day or something. I believe you're supposed to complete it before your 7 day SOLAR period (beginning tonight) is up.
