Payment Agreement and electives questions
dear all,
i had a question about payment agreement... ok, i haven't registered for my courses yet.. but, say after i register for all my engineering courses, do i have to do the payment agreement immediately after registering for my courses or can i do it some other time also? one more ques, say that i dont like my electives after i register.. can i change them anytime after i register for my courses???

thanks a lot,

Your payment agreement is just a list of your tuition fees, and residence fees if it applies. Then you have to agree on how you are going to pay them. (Just so the university knows you will pay everything). It is usually best to just do it when it is up. I actually dont' rmb if it is up right after you register.. my memory getting hazyy. sorry.

You can change your elective after you register. But keep in mind that there may not be spots left. The last day to register/drop/add courses without penalty is Monday, September 15. With out penalty meaning it will not appear on your transcript. If you drop/add after that day, it will say on your transcript what course you cancelled/added.

One the mac site it says:
  • After selecting your course load you will be required to complete a Payment Agreement for completion.
  • Your academically approved registration will not be complete until such a time as a Payment Agreement has been submitted
So from that, I will say. After you pick your courses, you will have to do your payment agreement in order to verify everything and confirm it !

1) YOU NEED to confirm the payment agreement
2) You CAN change and update your payment agreement via Mugsi after you've accepted it
3) You CAN change your courses after confirming them in SOLAR and agreeing to your payment agreement. You get 7 DAYS to make changes after you've put them into SOLAR.

See the huge discussion on Payment Agreement here.
