Hey, so I registered for the second term of summer school and just went to pay for it today. It said that the due date for paying was May 1st and added a late charge. Since we only started getting our marks May 1st, and this was for second semester of summer school, should there be a late fee?

Getting your marks has nothing to do with summer school and it doesn't matter when your courses are, the due date is what it is. You also pay for Fall/Winter second semester in September. It's the same thing for Summer. So yes, there should be a late fee.
