Is PayPal safe?
I want to buy something on eBay, and was wondering whether to use PayPal or not.

Please provide some advice if you have used PayPal/eBay before.

Thanks.

PayPal is pretty reputable, I've never heard of anyone having problems with it. I use it myself, and have yet to have an issue.

Hey there.
Yup it's safe and easy!
Just make sure that the seller is a "Power Seller" and has a 100% positive feedback.

Just a piece of advice. If you want to buy some thing using paypal, use your credit card rather than transferring money from your bank account. Incase, there is some thing wrong with the product or if the seller is screwing with you, you can simply call the credit card company and tell them that you were scammed. And the money gets reversed into your account.

Its pretty safe though, ive used my bank account in the past as well and never had problems.

YES

I've used it since I was 18. (4.5 years ago!) No problems! Buying or selling!!

It makes sure you dont have to give any info right to anyone else.

As said above however, make sure you inspect every item before you buy, such as if it's just the box or something... some people like to scam and are dbags. :(

PayPal is the safest way you can pay! I use it all the time for eBay purchases and if ever you get scammed or don't receive your product, etc, you can open a PayPal dispute and PayPal looks into it and will give you your money back! I love PayPal!

Just don't try using a prepaid credit card with it :\ It doesn't work, and just takes money from you that it never gives back.

Why would you use a prepaid credit card with paypal? Isnt the whole purpose of that to just use it as is.

I usually keep 200$ on my paypal so I can buy all sorts of things, such as online subscriptions, or digital purchases.

Legit. Vouch.
