Hey Guys,

A couple weeks back I got a job at The Source in Mississauga and as you may know we also sell Bell & Virgin Cell Phones.

To be honest I thought all cell phone companies were rip offs, but after employment I actually see quiet a few very decent plans.

If anyone is interested or has questions about phone plans feel free to ask

i currently pay $50 for my phone... it includes unlimited text messaging Canada-wide, and province-wide calling, no data, and couple other things. i got this on a promotion and for a year only had to pay $25 + tax...but now the year is up and the bill has been increased to $50 :(

For something similar to your plan, what about this:

My10, Unlimited talking between 10 numbers Canada wide.
Unlimited Texts
and Unlimited from 6pm.

If ya want data for 45: you get all that plus 100MB. and for 60$ you get all that + 1GB data and 5hours mobile tv.

If you have your own phone and sim. You can also get ya 10% Of your plan every month.

Just a suggestion, because you aren't getting a lot for 50$ unless you have some kind of long distance add on or data.

i got htc sensation. pure ripoff. unlimited text, 200 local minutes. my10, 1gb data and 100 long distance minutes which i argued for. this is $55, and comes to like 65 bucks a month always cause of the 2 dollar mailing of bill.

Why do ya feel its a rip off? That seems like an ok deal compared to others. Most people with even 500MB data are paying minimum 50-60$.

My Plan right now:
250 mins
Ultd Texts (no picture texts)
Ultd Incomming
Ultd Evenings at 6
6GB data
CD/VM

For 52$

The 6GB data is a promotion which usually comes up every time a new iPhone is released.

next phone plan i would want is Min 5gb of data (and if im signing another 3 year then min 20gb/unlimited), unlimited text, 10 minutes.

Thats right, 10 minutes...for emergencies. Otherwise I can use far cheaper (free) services using the data plan.

Look for the 6GB data promotion when the next iPhone is released

I doubt they will offer unlimited data anytime soon. Although there seem to be more and more coverage of wifi

well i have sg2 with:
1gb (4g) data, 200 min+unlimited 10 numbers, unlimited social data, unlim evenings +weekends, caller ID, wall waiting etc
$55/month+tax with bell

what I use: 1gb data, social data, caller ID, 10 numbers. ALL the other crap is useless to me.

btw wind mobile still has FAR cheaper and better deals than ROBELLUS, but there network was pretty bad when i switched from them.

Thats a pretty good plan! Better than mine

Yeah, winds plans are awesome but their network is still in the development phase. Will be interesting to see if they offer the same deals once they become big.

i dont feel i use it enough. i only call my parents and a few friends. i text a lot but thats nothing. data i rarely use since fb is included already. i never go over 100mb a month. i dont know many who even reach 300mb a month. in the end i just call about 5 people a lot and text a lot. i dont feel like i use $65 worth though.

Consider switching to this plan? And maybe ask for LD mins?

when i got my phone which was in the summer, the minimum plan u could get was a 50$ which gave only 200 text messages. for $5 i took the $55 one. so yea, cant really go lower.

Who the heck uses more than 500mb of data? I'm thinking of downgrading my unlimited everything plan soon (should do it right now for exams, but im too lazy)

You use more then 500 mb of data if you use YouTube often when on the road.

If you guys live near campus where there is free wifi, i dont even have a data plan on my android since there is no point. on a pay-as-you-go i pay $10 a month for 2500 texts and its 20 cents a min (my bill has yet to be over $15. I am with telus and i have found those kind of plans really cheap and good
