I agree with ^, my friend had an Xperia too and it was horridly slow
Even if you have an iPhone you can jailbreak it and you can customize it to the max, as much as if not more than an android.
Jailbreaking is super easy now days, if ya need help with it let me know

I have a HTC Incredible S and I love it. Great build quality, really customizable, lots of free apps that cost money on iOS, responsive screen. Great phone, in my opinion android is the way to go, fastest growing app market, most amount of users.

iphone or andriod ( i dont really like my bb bold right now, the internet is a bit slow and its just that great of a phone in terms of the variety of stuff it has. though this may be diff for the new touch ones they have a ton more apps and things you can do with them) .
also if your like me and love listening to the radio then dont get bb cus no radio on it ( you can download apps but its internet radio so itll take up data) you might want to check what andrios and iphones can do

That's actually not true, you can customize a jailbroken iPhone quite a bit, but still nowhere near the extent you can to an Android phone.

Don't get any of them, all of that is unncessary. If you want to spend $200 - 300 dollars on a phone with a contract, you might as well get a basic phone and an Android tablet pc, or iPad. That's all a smartphone is essentially, a really small tablet. You might as well go all the way for a larger 10 inch screen in the form of a tablet. Little do people know, is all they need a phone for is to call and text people. While all those extra features, browsing, music, other apps are better off on a different device. So go with a cheap, basic phone and a tablet interface device. Your experience is bound to be a lot better. I reccommend the Asus Transformer Tablet.
