Physical Chemistry course at Mac for non-Chem majors? [Pharm school]
Hello all,

I will be applying to pharmacy and am wondering which course meets this requirement below. Please note that I am a non-chemistry major, so the course must be open to me.

Here is the course:

Physical Chemistry
Physical Chemistry
Introduction to thermodynamics, kinetics; phase equilibrium, properties of mixture, chemical equilibrium, electrochemistry; introduction to quantum mechanics and spectroscopy.

Chem Bio 2P03. By looking at the prereqs you probably need to email the professor or the chem bio department for a course waiver.

Also possibilities, but obviously check with the school:

CHEM 2PD3 (requires linear algebra though)

MATLS 2B03 (just requires CHEM 1A03)

PHYSICS 2H04 is an antirequisite you could take instead of CHEM BIO 2P03. I sent them an email asking for course equivalences and both these courses are equivalent to Physical Chemistry at Waterloo.

Does anyone know which of these courses is easier? Or have any comments on the difficulty of any of these?

Thanks in advance
