Physics 1B03 during the year
As of now this is what I have planned for first year:

Term 1
Bio 1A03, Chem 1A03, Econ, Math 1LS3 and Psych 1X03

Term 2
Bio 1M03, Chem 1AA3, Econ, Pysch 1XX3 and Physics 1B03

I'd really appreciate any advice or opinions on doing physics 1B03 during the year. Physics is not my strong point and I'm not sure if f I should consider doing it in the summer or keep it for the year.

Thank You

Not sure if you are planning on doing after your undergrad or even which program post level 1 but taking physics is very useful in first year. A lot of the second year programs that you go into from Life Science 1 require you to have 1b03 and sometimes even 1bb3/1ba3 physics. If you know what you are doing after level 1 program wise look at the Undergraduate calender and see what requirements there are for the program that you want to go in.

If you just plan on going into med school after your undergrad taking physics would definitely help with preparing for the MCATs and some medical schools even require a full year of physics with lab (which means you can taking physics l03 and need both 1b03 and 1bb3/1ba3). Physics during the summer is definitely easier though it is more compressed so they will move faster. If you do decide to take physics during the year and have problems with it you can always ask your TA's or the instructor. In addition there is a physics help service called PHI (Physics Help Initiative) where upper year physics students are there most hours of the day to help with any questions you may have.

Cheers and have a great summer!

Physics 1B03 wasn`t all that bad during the year. The prof I had was Dr. Nejat although I did take Phys1L03 during first term which kinda helped with some concepts and gave me some experience on how to think for those courses. Physics 1B03 was basically grade 12 physics minus circular motion but included wave optics and concepts of pressure and buoyant force

wait. I thought you need at least one math (either 1A03,1LS3). NO?

True, but only the content was grade 12 physics. Holy...the midterm and the exam were nightmares..
