picking Biochemistry courses
Hi,

I'm a psychology, neuroscience and behavior second year student and I was interested in enrolling in a biochemistry course as I was thinking of transferring faculties and going into nursing. Is there any biochemistry courses that I can take that DON'T have a prerequisite except maybe to have taken first year science courses?

yeah I checked out this page but it seems that you need to be enrolled in programs in health sci, biochemistry and other programs. Is there any that are available to those that are not in those programs?

Those are all the biochem courses. And yes there are some courses listed there that do not require you to be in one of those programs.

if you're looking to apply to the accelerated nursing program, contact vikky lewis. see if you can substitute regular chem for biochem. My friend who got in this year was allowed to do that, but that may have only been because the 6 units of biochem required is new.

so you're saying that you're friend got in taking a full year of organic chemistry instead? I saw that on the undergraduate calendar too so I wanted to make sure it was still possible to do that.
