Your res room. Other than that, no. They'd have to spend the nite in a hotel.

You are allowed to have guests something like three consecutive nights then they're not allowed again for five days...I forget exactly. It's in the RCC (Residence Code of Conduct) that you're given.

Are you talking about now or during the school year?
If you're talking during the school year you can have overnight visitors in your room as long as you follow the proper procedures.
As for during the Summer I thought I read something about being able to rent a residence room to stay in for a night or something.
Ahh yes, here is a link to the Housing and Conference services page:

That PDF has information about staying overnight on campus. It looks like you can stay for up to a month if you'd like.
It looks like they run a kind of Hotel type service.

Speaking of that, would one who doesn't live on res, be able to rent a room for the night? Or would they have to stay with a friend? I don't think I'd ever do that, but maybe a commuter would.

And it's pretty expensive...it's like $70/night. And they're single beds! eww

During the school year you probably can't rent a room since they're all full.
If you're a commuter though and you really needed to crash you could probably a)crash with a friend who lives off-campus or b)sleep in somewhere like the student center. MUSC is open 24/7 so technically you could sleep there.

I believe you are only allowed up to 2 people per night as well.

Yes this is true.
Technically though I think if you wanted to have 3 friends you might be able to have your roommate sign in your other guest. I think it's 2 guests per person not per room.
That said rooms are not that big so I don't know where you'd fit all of you, lol.
And again it depends on your agreement with your roommate. They may not be comfortable with overnight guests or with overnight guests of the opposite sex.

Yeah, it's 2 guests per person. Some double rooms have a lot of space. You can easily fit 2 people in a normal double room in Edwards.
