It's not. Childs also does not post his notes online. He writes them out live on Smartboard but does not upload them anywhere so you'd have to contact others in the class if you miss a lecture.

A tip though - his notes have been known to barely change between recent years and terms. So if you can get a hold of last year's notes for this course, you'll basically have this year's notes. (I'd double check about small nuances though.) This also means you can skip all the classes but I always found it was easier to be taking notes in person.

Are SOCSCI courses with Penner podcasted?

I just recently took Geography 2EI3, Intro to Environmental Issues. This course has podcasts which was a first time done by Dr. Luc Bernier. The podcast however, is a bit different from the actual lectures but it has more information than the actual lectures in terms of course content.

I heard that Linguistics 1A03 also has podcast which is also a first time this year. My sister took the course and that what she told me.
