POLL: Would articles on how to write an essay help you?
To elaborate more on the title, would you be interested in reading an article (or a series of articles) on essay writing, and how to improve your skills?
They could include a mixture of what you should be including (i.e. what a good thesis looks like) as well as what TAs/profs look for when they mark?
What do you want to know?

I would like this, essay writing is the worst for me.... which is why I take as little essay writing courses I can, but if I ever get stuck with one it would defiantly help

Yeah definitely. Last time I wrote a proper essay was back in first year.

May not be ready until term 2 because of my workload for the next month, but we shall see what happens.

I think it would be so so SO helpful, because a lot of courses still don't give clear expectations of what to include, format, etc. I know it would be extremely helpful for everyone, especially since you have experience with that

Heck, I have no more papers due this semester, that would work out perfect

While this seems like a good idea, I would not personally make use of this resource. I feel that writing essays is a skill I have mastered, and my marks for written assignments tends to agree with me. Now if these articles had a section on brevity I might take a look. I tend to put way too much info into my first draft and ends up cutting it down in subsequent drafts.

articles on how to write essays would be great but I know for me (and many others I talk too) the problem is how to locate proper resources without it taking a month of searching or reading hundreds of pages to find one good reference. The reason many people blow essays is because they rush it after wasting to much time on research. Just a thought.

That's actually a good thing. It's way better to have too much and have to cut than not enough and be short.
