I do not have a MCV 4U0 so i am planning on taking MATH 1K03. Does MATH 1K03 count as an elective?
If not what does it count as?

math 1K03 is for students in commerce, humanities, and social science so i dont think it counts for life sci students...because you may want to or need to take math 1A03 in the future and 1k03 doesnt count as a prereq for that....so you'll need to take math 1f03 ( the equivalent to mcv 4u for life si students)

Yes, Math 1F03 does count as one of your electives, and it's not technically a faculty of science course either, so you can't use it towards one of the 3 courses that you need from the 'life science course list'. I took this course in the fall.
