If I want to get into Life Science and I don't take any sciences first semester grade 12 how do they calculate my admission.
E.x)

Sem. 1

English
Sports Marketing
Advanced Functions

Sem. 2
Biology
Chemistry
Exercise science

they will take the average from the other pre requisites (advanced functions and english for example) and your midterm average of the other needed ones

So you saying if i get a 95+ in Sports Marketing i get no advantage?

They take your highest 6 grade 12 university level courses to calculate your average, but they take prerequisites first.

So if you had 6 prerequisite courses, only those 6 would count towards your average. But if you only have 4 prerequisites for your program, they'll also take your highest 2 other university level courses.

I was in a similar situation in grade 12 when I applied for nursing (which has similar prereqs). I was taking advanced functions, writer's craft, international business and comm. tech. and I'm pretty sure it did give me an advantage because I got my acceptance in late February I believe (I had 90+ in everything). I took all my sciences and english in second term.
