is this a problem?
i have tutorial for math 1LS3 at 9:30-10:20 at Togo Salmon Hall (TSH)
and then chem core starting at 10:30 on the same day at Burke Sci Building (BSB).

i looked at the map to see where the buildings were located, and it seemed like they were pretty far from each other.
would there be enough travelling time...?

is this tutorial mandatory??

Tutorials are generally independant so even if you were a minute or two late it wouldnt really matter. I dont think its much of a problem.

Ohh sorry, I missed that.

Well if you went through the little passage through university hall (UH), it still would only take you about 5 minutes to get to Burke's, provided you kept walking with a purpose. I dont think itll be a problem, 10 minutes is alot of time.

*and you can just leave the tutorial early if you really need to.

I've walked from one side of the campus to the other side back to back for classes and even appointments. the campus really isn't that big. You won't be late or anything. It might take a while at first to figure out where everything is but honestly TSH to BSB is approx. a two min walk

Also, always assume a tutorial is mandatory. You shouldn't be thinking about whether or not to go to them yet. Tutorials are there to help you and in first year they are generally mandatory. A TA has the power to change your grades. If you put in enough effort and ask your TA for help you can do REALLY well in your courses

You should be fine... just don't get distracted during your walk. I've done TSH to T13 before and it was cutting it close

I would suggest finding your way around campus before the first week of classes though.

TSH to T13? That's childs play! I've done T29 to ITB and we'd always have to run. But the entire class was coming from there so it didn't matter that we were late.

Yeah, back to the original question, TSH to BSB is nothing, it's usually the average amount you're going to walk from class to class normally.
