It is about a million times more likely that if there's a problem, it will be with the entire server, not with just your account. Despite all of the problems the previous system had, 99.99% of them were unrelated to individual accounts. School hasn't even started yet, they're probably just doing maintenence to try to make sure that when school starts, the system actually WORKS. Last year, they didn't do this, and that was a pretty good example of 'hectic'.
Seriously people, relax! I hadn't even heard of WebCT (which is what we used to use before Avenue and ELM) before starting school, and it's not like they assume you already know about it on the first day of school. Your course outlines will all contain the URL and you'll likely hear all 5 of your profs explain something about it.
Trust me, you'd rather wait til the beginning of school to do your 1A00 quiz than have to deal with the disaster we had last year. |

The safety quiz is a breeze and its really nothing to worry about 
Btw i logged in to avenue and its looks sooo much better than elm 
hopefully its just as fast during the school year than it is now . |

Lol, we'll see how it handles the load. Right not no one is using it, but come September there's going to be 16000+ students trying to get on. I hope the servers can handle it. By the way, what company owns Avenue anyways?

Apparently it was a nightmare to use from the prof's point of view, and it stopped being supported by Blackboard...too bad :( |

I also liked ELM, there were almost no problems with it when I used it in first year. ELM was just horrible for the first half of the school year. I'm hoping Avenue doesn't have any server problems like ELM did.

Haha.
Last year I had 1 course on ELM, terrible. Rest had their own website I think this year all have their own websites... except my elective econ -_-

If it's 1B03 then that's going may suck if Avenue is messed up. All the assignments and practice tests will be on it. If it's 1BB3 then I think just the podcasts will be on Avenue, I believe they still use APLIA.
