I keep trying to get onto my mcmaster email (Need to email a prof), but it keeps saying: account has been moved to a remote system

Any ideas?

I got really excited for a second, thinking that we finally got switched to Google Apps, but I cant sign in to it yet. I guess you cant sign in here?

also, your still an undergrad right? maybe try logging in to univmail?

My account works just fine, so it's not a system-wide error...

I think you are trying to enter '[email protected]' instead of just 'macid' into the login field. Try that.

I sometimes run into that error myself because most email sign-in pages require the @blah.com part too.

when it does work... i would recommend you integrate it with the email you use outside of school (whether it be hotmail/gmail/etc.) that way all your mail gets forwarded there and you dont have to deal with the unattractive interface of macs email... you can also send mail from your macid without having to login to macs service
