program transfer
hey guys, i have a question and if somebody can reply please do so. currently i am in level 1 environmental science program and for my second year i wish to transfer into the life sciences program. for my first year i choose all the right courses that can be transferred and are the requirements of life sciences. they are both in the same faculty so i was wondering if it will be easier to transfer or not? is there a possibility that i cannot transfer at all?? please help me here!!

hey munawm! From my experience, as long as you meet the prerequisies for the second year program, you should have no trouble tansferring. In second semester, the 1st years are asked to choose which program they would like to go into online from basically all of the programs. Once you apply, they look ensure you meet the prerequsites and your in!

I have a friend of transferred from social sciences to biology this year, so I' sure enviro sci --> life sci should be no problem. Good luck!

Yep! You can definitely switch...all you have to do is email the advisors in the department you wish to switch to and they should place you in it right away seeing as how you already have all the prerequisites and how it's so close to school. In my experience, the advisors usually get back to you in less than an hour - I am in a different department, but I hear most are good at getting back to students

I would just contact the Associate Dean's office and get transferred before second year. No need to take enviro sci classes if you don't want to.
