Question Regarding Program Transfer
Hey there,

I was in Life Sciences first year, but I did real real bad and got put onto probabtion. So I'm in general science right now in second year, I've still taken all the life science required courses for second year. Can I apply back into the life science program. And also if I can get my cumulative average above 6.0 by the end of summer terms does that mean I'm canin go into the Honours program, and can I even transfer/apply that late after the summer terms? I'm just real confused and would love some advice.

Unfortunately threads get lost sometimes, littlejohnny.

From what you said yes, you can re-apply for life sci and it also is possible for you to apply to Honours life sci. However, I don't know much about the life sci program, so I can't tell you if they have a certain number of students they accept into the honours program or not.

If no one on MacInsiders can answer your question, you can always go to an academic advisor. In fact you should probably go to an academic advisor anyways, just to confirm that things have not changed (if someone does answer your question).

But to answer your question. Yes, if you complete all the requirements you can apply back to get into the life science program. I'm not sure about taking summer courses and how it's taken to account though. So I can't really answer your second question.

yes you can... summer school marks will also be considered and so long as you have a 6.0, you will be guaranteed because H. Life Sciences is not a limited enrollment program. If the program is limited enrollment, you would be enrolled if there is room
