Prospective Student
Hello. I'm a prospective student, who is currently in Grade 12 at Hillfield. I would like to do a double major in philosophy and economics, but I'm not sure which philosophy course is best for me. I'm also slightly unclear on how to register for a double major, but I hope to get all that cleared up and officially join the McMaster community next year. My personal interests are political philosophy, ethics, macroeconomics and history.

Hi Mike,

Here's some information for you about a combined Philosophy and Economics degree from the undergraduate calendar:

Economics and Another Subject: http://registrar.mcmaster.ca /CALEN...nt/pg1680.html
Philosophy and Another Subject: http://registrar.mcmaster.ca /CALEN...nt/pg2076.html

I've never taken any Philosophy courses, but I have a friend in Humanities and I know she really liked PHILOS 1A03 when she took it last year. Here's a link to all of the Philosophy courses offered by the department for you to look through, if you haven't done so:

http://registrar.mcmaster.ca /CALEN...nt/pg1832.html

Hope this helps, and good luck!
