PSYCH 2AP3 (ABNORMAL PSYCH) Midterm 1 -what did you think??
Hey guys,
Did anyone else here write the psych 2ap3 midterm today? I just wanted your thoughts on those crazy textbook questions. I searched the textbook after the midterm, and had a hard hard time finding some of those answers, if any that matched. :(

Hey!
I'm in that class lol
and I'm doing the same thing, actually -- skimming the text to try to find those terms. :S
I still can't find them, LOL
but other than that, I think it was fair.
A couple of the questions from the practise quiz were on it, WORD FOR WORD, which was a nice little surprise, lol.
Overalll, it was okay.

It's a Dr. Day course, that was a third year course last year (and a decently challenging 3rd year course as well), it's bound to still be a bit difficult.

I'm glad I wasn't the only one who had a "wtf" moment during the test! I don't remember ever coming across half of the content in the textbook questions. The only one I recalled was that 10% of Canadians have some sort of mental illness. It seemed like there was hardly anything from chapters 2 or 3, so I don't even know where half the questions came from. :S But, other than that, it wasn't so bad!

Great, I got that one wrong! I initially chose that but changed it to 25-44 or whatever that option was because it (a) includes more people and (b) I figure as life goes on one is more apt to experience stressors like divorce. Oh well, I hope I still did well anyways!

I heard a rumour they came from the old textbook...don't know for sure though. If you look at his announcement on the forum, he's posted how the class did. 16% failed.

That would make me feel a lot better, haha. The like few things I didn't remember from the readings were tested and all the stuff that I did know wasn't! Oh well, at least I know better for next time. I think I found the answer for the one about conduct disorder and I think it's that a significant minority develop antisocial personality disorder later on in life. Again, I put that it's over half, thinking that would make more intuitive sense.

Definitely going to send an email if I'm not the only one who had a hard time with the textbook questions. D:
Could not find any of the things he asked in the text.
I still want to know what Virginia Douglas did, I totally had to guess on that question. >.<
and WTF, I had 15-24, then I switched it.
