psych 2RA3 - PASW?
Does anyone know what the PASW software is and do u actully need it for the course? Thanks!

The software needed is SPSS, it's required for the course. If you really don't want to get it, it's on the computers in some labs at school, you'll just have to do assignments there.

does the SPSS software come with the textbook or is it that what they call the PASW software. Theres no SPSS software on the course list so is that bought seperately? thanks!

I found out that that is the new name for SPSS, thanks for helping me though.

yeah, SPSS is now PASW. It comes with the textbook. It's a windows-only version, and i didn't want to isntall windows on my mac, so I just used the computer labs. The lab in the psych building (first floor, by the west doors) are all preloaded and are often free. The 2RA3 TA's have office hours in there too, and really help you out (as do your other classmates in there)...
