Pulse Membership for First Year
Hey so I'm a new student going to mac and wanted to get a gym membership at the pulse for 8 months. What do you do as a first year to get your gym membership. Iv'e heard different things like you have to call or visit the desk at the DBAC when you get there. Can you call it in before frosh week or do you have to wait until move in and sign up at the desk?

Just head to the gym (DBAC). Before walking down the stairs, there is a office to your right. Go in and sign up. Be done within 5 minutes and you can walk into the gym right after.

id recommend going early in the morning (before 9am) as an annoyingly long line tends to form every year after this time

GO TO David Braley Athletic Centre. It's a clear, glass office to your right.

GO EARLY/ at irregular times to get your membership. During Sept and WW, it is CRAZY busy and super long lines.

Expect to pay about $130 for your 8 month membership. And you can pay extra for towel or locker service. You pay in person.

ENJOY!

Locker isn't that easy to get. You have to gamble in the lottery system before you are allow to even purchase for one. BTW, its totally rigged in my opinion. You won't get one that easily unless you are on a team or know someone that work there.

Just go early in general to buy your membership and actual workout.

Anything after 10pm throughout the year becomes crowded and unbearable. You can hardly move down near the weights and powerlifting platforms without someone swinging their arms with bad form like they're going to 1280 to rave.

You pay for a membership online with the barcode on your MacID and a PIN they send you.
