Purchasing textbooks...
I'm a second year student in Honours Biology. To prepare for this coming fall, I want to pre-purchase my textbooks but from first-year experience, we do not find out the latest versions of our textbooks until our classes begin, which is too late for me. Is there any other way to find out?

I realize that many people sell their textbooks here but I would like to know the latest editions so I can price compare...

You can try to contact the professors to see what books they plan on using. They may not have decided yet or they may change their minds later on though.

I would say the professors since they are the ones who do the lectures so they would probably be the ones choosing the textbooks to supplement their lectures.
