question about business courses
i want to switch into business next year and i figured out a way i can fast track and graduate in 4 years instead of 5.

im just wondering are you allowed to take upper year courses in business? for example if you are in 2nd (or 3rd) year commerce, are you allowed to take those 3rd (or 4th) year commerce courses?

i think i read somewhere you can't...just want ot clarify.

I'm pretty sure nothing really stops you...except for prerequisites.

Check the calendar for each course you are thinking about. Sometimes a prerequisite can be the level you are in (e.g. "Level II or above").

Yes, it's possible as long as you have the prerequisites. When I was in 4th year and took Commerce 4AA3 there were actually about three or four 3rd year students in the class.

Trust me when I say this, you are better off to take an extra year or two in university and gain relevant experience to what you want to do through extra curriculars rather than finish in four years with no experience.

Danielle's correct. No need to rush things - it could really hurt you in the long-run since you'll have less time to do extra curriculars and might even do worse in all your courses due to any possible overloading.
