You can move in on the 4th without letting the school know, as long as its before Sept 8th.

I moved in later last year without informing them and there was no penalty and no one even commented on it while I was picking up my keys..

its fine.. they said jus move in b4 the 8th (or 9th i think it was) and you dont necessarily have to inform them
